Letter from Scott Kreiling
Today, more than ever before, consumers need timely, reliable and credible information to make informed decisions regarding their heath and
health care. Regence is committed to connecting consumers with a variety of decisionmaking tools to assist them in that process.
I want to take a moment to share with you the value we have witnessed as our members take advantage of our online resources at myRegence.com. A growing number of consumers are using our
popular Health Risk Assessment tool to better understand health care costs and learn how to take better care of themselves. We have further
empowered consumers to research and share feedback about providers in the Community section of myRegence.com, thus creating an open
exchange of opinions, thoughts and experiences with other members of the Regence community.
Thanks to your help in educating members about the benefits of myRegence.com, currently more than 20% of Regence members are
registered users. In 2009 we would like to see an even greater percentage of participation. For that reason we encourage you to continue to
explore the tools and resources available on myRegence.com. As an agent you can access the site using the guess pass code BROKER.
Here are a few easy steps you can take when communicating with your clients about how to start taking advantage of this useful information:
- Go to myRegence.com
- Click New Member Registration.
- Complete Required Access Fields.
- Select Register and log in.
Today, consumers also want the peace of mind that comes from knowing that their health plan is financially stable and strong. That's why each
year we invite A.M. Best to conduct
a thorough audit of our financial stability. The audit's results are shared and published publicly. Our most recent audit reflects an A.M.
Best rating of A Excellent. This rating validates the trust that our customers place in our solidity and stability.
Thank you for your commitment to Regence and, as always, please contact
us if you have comments or questions.
Sincerely,
Scott Kreiling
