09/08/2009   Integrated online resources makes doing business easier for groups

Groups that have chosen Innova®, Engage®, ActivateSM or Regence HSA Healthplan 2.0SM will find it easier than ever to do business with us because now they have the option to use our integrated Online Enrollment and eBilling tools via the Web. These services are available to all sized groups at no additional charge.

The Online Enrollment application automates the entire enrollment process, enabling employers and employees to perform self-service enrollment transactions online. Employers and employees can complete enrollment data, modify eligibility and update enrollment information online. Our new suite of products also has an eBilling feature that includes an online payment option and the ability to request a re-bill after making eligibility changes. This allows groups to view their Regence invoice online, eliminating the need for paper invoices as well as enabling groups to review billing and receipt history via the Web. Groups have the option to make eligibility adjustments to the bill that can be re-billed to reflect those adjustments, or to pay the original bill online using a standard Web browser. With eBilling the group can pay online, write a check, use Surepay, or even pay the bill by a wire transfer! A group can add Online Enrollment and eBilling any time during the year. Preferably this will happen a month before their effective date on the new products or shortly after the effective date.

Groups can appoint the Secondary Group Administrator to the agent/broker or Third Party Administrator through Employer Center. When a group does this, it allows the agent/broker/TPA to view the group's account online and make changes for them. When multiple groups do this, then the agent/broker/TPA logs in and will have multiple groups they can select.

Once the group is set up, groups will have access to multiple tutorials to assist them online. Groups are also assigned to a specialized Membership Administrator to assist them with any questions regarding Online Enrollment and eBilling.
