Regence Promotes Women’s Wellness – Prenatal Exams

Regence BlueShield promotes women’s health and wellness for all members and supports condition screening recommendations created by the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF).  Regence is partnering with Boeing to encourage early prenatal care and women’s health screening exams for their employees and dependents throughout 2008.

Boeing Regence members will receive reminders to make an appointment with their physician or other health care professional for the following screening exam which is  covered under their Regence health care benefit plan:

Early prenatal care
Regular checkups are the best way to monitor both the mother’s health and the baby’s development. Prenatal care is a covered benefit for our members.
